Anti-Spam Policy

Zaidwood Capital prohibits the sending of unsolicited bulk email, commonly called spam. We do not send it, we do not permit it to be sent on our behalf, and we do not permit our name, brand, or domains to be used in it or linked from it.

That prohibition covers bulk or indiscriminate distribution to addresses with no business reason to receive the message, the use of harvested or purchased consumer address lists, falsified sender information or message headers, misleading subject lines, and any message that conceals who sent it or why.

If you have received a message in our name that you believe breaches this policy, the Reporting abuse section below tells you how to reach us. We investigate every report.

Correspondence sent by the firm is business to business. It is addressed to an identified individual in a role relevant to the matter raised, whether a principal, an officer, an investment professional or an adviser, and it concerns the firm’s services or a transaction that person is positioned to consider.

The firm does not conduct consumer marketing of any kind. Every outbound commercial message sent by the firm, or by any party sending on its behalf, meets the standards set out below.

zaidwoodcapital.com is the firm’s primary domain. The firm also sends from a limited number of affiliated outreach domains, each a variation of the Zaidwood name, used to separate correspondence by purpose.

Messages sent from those domains identify Zaidwood Capital as the sender and direct the recipient back to zaidwoodcapital.com. A message that does neither did not come from the firm, and should be reported under Reporting abuse below.

There are three ways to stop receiving commercial messages from the firm. Use the unsubscribe mechanism carried in the message; reply to the message asking not to be contacted further; or write to contact@zaidwoodcapital.com. Each has the same effect.

Requests are actioned promptly and in any event within ten business days, as required by law. Suppression applies across all of the firm’s sending domains, not only the one the message came from. No fee is charged, and no information beyond an email address and a statement of the request is required. Once actioned, the address is not re-added to any list and is not transferred to any other party.

Opting out of commercial messages does not stop transactional or relationship correspondence relating to a live engagement to which the recipient is party.

If you believe you have received a message sent in the firm’s name that does not meet the standard set out here, or a message purporting to be from the firm that was not sent by it, report it to contact@zaidwoodcapital.com, retaining the original message and its full headers.

We investigate every report. Where a vendor or data provider is found to have sent in breach of this policy, its authorisation to send in the firm’s name is withdrawn.

Communications that misuse the firm’s name are also addressed in the fraud notice.

Where the firm engages a vendor to send on its behalf, or licenses data from a provider, that vendor or provider is required to comply with this policy and with applicable law. Engaging a vendor does not transfer responsibility: the firm remains accountable for messages sent in its name.

Email sent in the firm’s name without its authorisation is not the firm’s correspondence. It is impersonation, and is treated as such.
